Stake.com is a general crypto casino and sportsbook, not a CS2 site. That distinction is the whole review. There is no skin deposit, no skin withdrawal and no case opening anywhere on the platform. CS2 exists here in one place, the esports section of the sportsbook, where you bet money on professional matches. If you came looking for somewhere to open cases or turn an inventory into cash, Stake is the wrong site.

What is worth reading closely is the licensing, which Stake states in full and in public, and the list of countries it refuses to serve, which is longer than most players expect. Who Runs It

Stake publishes its operator and licence in clause 1.1 of its terms of service, which we read on 6 August 2026. It states that Stake.com is owned and operated by Medium Rare N.V., head office at Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao, and that Medium Rare N.V. "is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under license number OGL/2024/1451/0918". The footer gives the company registration number as 145353.

The same clause names two payment subsidiaries: Medium Rare Limited, registration HE 410775, in Nicosia, Cyprus, and MRS Tech Ltd, registration HE 477481, in Larnaca. Those HE numbers are Cyprus corporate registrations, not gambling licences. The gaming authorisation is the single Curaçao number above, and Curaçao is a light-touch regime, so read it as "there is a named regulator with a licence number you can quote in a complaint", not as UK or Malta style consumer protection.

Where you cannot play

Clause 14.3 of the terms lists the prohibited jurisdictions, and on 6 August 2026 it named: Afghanistan, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Curaçao, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, North Korea, Ontario, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, South Sudan, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States and Zimbabwe. Curaçao itself is on that list, which is normal for the licence type. Clause 14.4 states that using a VPN or proxy to get around it is a breach of the terms. Nordic readers should note Denmark and Sweden are blocked while Norway and Finland are not named. Re-read the clause before depositing, because operators edit these lists without announcement.

What Stake.com Offers

• An esports sportsbook with real CS2 depth. On 6 August 2026 the lobby listed CS2 alongside Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, Rocket League and StarCraft 2, plus a separate CS2 Duels category.
• CS2 markets beyond match winner. Stake's esports page lists tournament winner, map handicap, map winner, totals including total kills and kills by a named player, correct score, props such as first blood and whether an ace is scored, and parlays.
• Free live streaming of matches inside the sportsbook, per Stake's esports page.
• Stake Originals, the in-house game set, plus third-party slots, live casino, roulette, blackjack and poker.
• CS2 ties beyond betting. Stake states it runs its own tier two CS2 circuit, Stake Ranked, and that it is partnered with Team Vitality and Astralis.
• A VIP club with rakeback, weekly and monthly bonuses and reloads.

Be clear-eyed about that VIP programme, because rakeback is the usual reason CS2 players get pointed here. Stake publishes the ladder itself: Bronze at $10k wagered, Silver at $50k, Gold at $100k, Platinum tiers from $250k up to $25M, Diamond above that. Those are wager totals rather than deposits, but they are still the price of the benefit. If your CS2 bankroll is a few hundred dollars, the rakeback argument does not apply to you.

Money In, Money Out

Stake's esports page lists supported crypto as BTC, ETH, USDT, EOS, DOGE, LTC, TRX and SOL, names Swap Connect and Mesh as integration routes, and points to local currency deposits, so fiat exists alongside crypto. There is also a vault for holding a balance off the playable account.

Two terms clauses matter more than the rail list. Clause 8.5 states plainly that you must wager 100% of the value of your deposit before you can request a fiat withdrawal. That is a condition on your own money, applied whether or not you took a bonus, and it is the most important line on the page for a casual depositor. Clause 8.3 states withdrawals must go back through the same payment method used to deposit, with Stake reserving the right to split a withdrawal across methods. Clause 4.8 states Stake can demand KYC documents at any time and can hold a payment or withdrawal until identity is established.

We did not deposit or withdraw, so we have no timing to report.

Provably Fair

Stake documents provable fairness properly, and this is where it outclasses most CS2 case sites. Its fairness section explains the model as a commitment scheme combined with cryptographic hashing, summarised on the page as "fair result = operators input (hashed) + players input", and it carries sub-pages for implementation, conversions, game events, unhashing the server seed and calculation. Stake states all Stake Originals can be verified on site or through open-sourced third-party verifiers, and that it is a verified operator on the Crypto Gambling Foundation network.

Note the scope. Provably fair covers Stake Originals. It does not cover third-party slots and live casino tables, which run on the providers' own RNG, and it has nothing to do with the sportsbook, where your return is set by the margin priced into the odds.

What We Have Not Verified

• Payout speed and hold rate. Stake is not in our withdrawal tracker and we ran no deposit or withdrawal.
• House edge and RTP. We read no published house edge figure for any specific game this session, so we state none.
• Sportsbook margin on CS2 markets. Not published, and we did not compute it.
• Whether the licence is current. We read the number in Stake's terms. We did not check it against a Curaçao Gaming Authority register.
• The prohibited country list at your reading date. Ours is a snapshot of 6 August 2026.
• Fees. The terms say fees may apply and will be shown in the cashier. We saw no fee schedule while logged out.

Who Stake.com Is Right For

People who want to bet money on CS2 matches, in a deep market list, at an operator that names its regulator and licence number. It suits high-volume gamblers who will actually reach the VIP thresholds, and crypto users comfortable with Curaçao oversight. It is wrong for anyone whose CS2 activity is skins: there is no inventory route in or out, so a Stake balance and a Steam inventory stay two separate things.

Rating: 4.1 / 5. As a gambling operator Stake is more transparent than almost everything else in this directory. It publishes its entity, registration number, licence authority and licence number, a full prohibited jurisdiction list and real provably fair documentation, none of which most CS2 case sites bother with. As a CS2 site it is thin by design: one strong esports sportsbook and no skin economy. The 4.1 reflects a well-run platform that solves a problem most of our readers do not have.
